As wireless providers continue to up their unlimited data plan options, more predictions are flowing around how many wired broadband subscribers might abandon their service in favor of full-on dependence to mobile data. For example, in February, Parks Associates suggested in its “360 View: Mobility & the App Economy” report that 10 percent of U.S. broadband households might cancel their fixed broadband service in the next year or so, and lean on wireless services alone.
