While home speakers, as well as the use of AI assistants on smartphones and tablets, figure centrally into the voice shopping market, there is also great potential in the automobile market. A study by marketing research and consulting firm Parks Associates reveals that 57% of US broadband households are interested in voice control features for their car. With a shift to automated cars approaching, a future where consumers shop using the voice control features of their Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled cars is easy to see.
