Though streaming services are the new norm, paying for multiple subscriptions -- or even a live TV streaming service like DirecTV Stream -- can rival your cable bill. According to a July 2022 study from Parks Associates, roughly one-quarter of American households subscribe to nine or more streaming services, while 50% of us have at least four.
