Capture the State of the Home Automation Industry With Our 2023 Deep Dive Survey
We’re kicking off our 11th annual 2023 Home Automation Deep Dive survey, focused on the current state of the residential security industry, and we need your help to make sure the results reflect the industry as completely as possible.
You have until Monday, Sept. 18 to share your thoughts on the home automation industry, your place in it and the future of your steadily increasing corner of the world. The yearly research project, done in partnership with Parks Associates, aims to gain valuable insights on crucial aspects of residential security.
“In 2023, dealers face a rocky road,” says Jennifer Kent, vice president of research for Parks Associates. “Lower home sales combine with inflation to temper consumer spending while DIY products continue to compete with security systems for consumers’ wallet.
“Dealers are branching out into new areas to bolster revenues and to find applications that require or value professional installation and monitoring. In this 11th annual survey conducted jointly by SSI and Parks Associates, we investigate how dealers see the market today and the strategies that show opportunity for growth,” she says.
