High-income broadband households are behind a recent jump in smart home adoption in Canada, according to new research. A report by Parks Associates, “Smart Home and IoT in Canada,” indicates that 19 percent of Canadian households with an income of $100,000 or more own at least one smart home device, compared to 5 percent of those with an income of less than $50,000.
