22% of US smartwatch owners will use them for smart homes

Around 22 percent of those who own or intend to buy smartwatches in the US will use them for home control and automation, according to a study by Parks Associates. Around 80 percent of smartphone/tablet users who own at least one smart home device have downloaded mobile apps for these devices.
